Where can we take this stray dog that we've found in San Miguel?

It appears some selfish human being has abandoned his dog,it followed us home 2 nights ago we have fed and watered it but needs to find a home quickly.Does any one know of a charity of such who we can contact to look after it we live in El Roque near San Miguel.

K9 might take him but they will probably give you the tel number of San Miguel police first who will speak to you in English. Once they have said they wont take the dog then ring K9 back and if you are lucky and they have room you may be lucky.

maybe it is lost rather than abandoned. Take it to the vet to check for a chip, you might be able to find the owner. Failing that, there are numerous Facebook pages for animals in Tenerife, one of those may be able to help.
