:airplane:Over the last few weeks i have been doing a little research.
It seems to be that most flights are late leaving on quoted departure times out of UK airports , Does anyone have any ideas why there should be so many that leave late and so few that depart on time :airplane:

A web site worth looking at for flight departure and arrival statistics is

www.flightontime.info

I noticed they don't cover Prestwick airport where Uncle Mick flys from, maybe they know that that's where I fly from and are either keen to get rid of me or scared of delaying me.....I suspect its the first reason!!

I suspect airlines have extended normal flight times so they now appear to always be on time or "ahead of schedule".
Manchester to Tenerife always used to be 4 hours, even 3.50mins on a good day but now information is always that the flight time is 4.25mins. Then when they actually land in 4.20 mins they are full of self congratulation and it looks good for their percentages.
