What's your favorite tipple when in Tenerife?

I'm a lightweight when it come to drinking, in the UK vodka and tonic, tenerife' i'l have a beer, dernt get a vodka, they put too much in and screw it up, collapse after 1 or 2, I'm glad i cant drink much, seen it mess too many lives up.

Cold cold cold white wine - the way red is served in Tenners is yuk, think they keep the bottles under/on the counter at "room" temperature (or perhaps thats only in the bars I frequent)

On a night out it is Vodka and Coke...normal fattening coke not that sugar free stuff with the horrible taste, at home in the evening it's either and nice bottle of Rose straight out of the fridge, preferably sparkling or a large Baileys and ice Mmmmm

Glad you said that Zara - on my recent trip to a Gomera we stopped off at the National Park for one of those but couldn't for the life of me remember the name!!!!! It has condensed milk in it - was delicious :)

I love a Mojito myself, and the good lady loves a Piña Colada... Also very partial to a Ricard with water but also happy with a Dorada..
.. Also discovered a lemon beer called Tropical when there last time.. Only 2% alcohol and very refreshing :)

I like tipple called Ecky's roond it tastes very sweet and is very cheap:laugh: but failing that I now limit myself to bottles of Dorada and the occasional glass of red wine but the wine has to chilled the colder the better:wave:

Vina Sol is my tipple usually but cant resist a good well made Mojito . I remember asking for one in the Rovers Return next to Compestela Beach {now closed ,not surprisingly} It appeared infront of me and we nearly choked trying to keep our laughter in. It tasted worse than it looked Listermint mouth wash was definately the order of the day with what I caan only describe as part of a hawthorn bush for the mint I threw it over the wall but the guy came over with another one for me as there was an offer on all cocktails if you bought two, it also went over the wall. Never laughed so much in my life. Scottish guy who served me had obviously knew what one should look like but improvised with what he had in the bar .

Oh separately except the Gin and Tonic or Gin and schh ( you know who) ginger beer which I discovered on this forum, apparently it's nice with vodka as well with a slice of lime and ice.....thirsty now![emoji6] Give it a try!
