I've been watching the double grapefruit growing on our little tree here in Pto. de la Cruz and this morning I found it lying on the ground, probably ripe enough to eat so I took it in the kitchen and cut it open.
Here's what it looked like and how half of it ended up as my breakfast, with a little added honey. I'm doing the 5:2 diet this morning so the fruit fell on the right day.
I would like to also have a pink grapefruit tree, as they are a little sweeter than the regular grapefruit so maybe I'll look for a spot in the garden where I could plant one.
