Musicians in Los Cristianos church square last night

I was in the Church Square last night watching a concert with 24 musicians, a dozen or so singers and a lot of commentary which I was unable to keep up with.
There were presentations to various people. Does anyone know what it was all in aid of?

On a more serious note, it was a cultural event put on by Arona tourism board, 13th Annual meeting of folklore singing.
