Astra 2E now in Orbit!

The Astra 2E satellite was successfully launched overnight, see here if you want to read the details about the launch http://www.spaceflight101.com/astra-2e-proton-launch-updates.html. This will have a big impact of what TV channels will be received in Tenerife once it is in orbit and services transferred.

The transfers of channels will probably take place over next month so we will have to wait and see effect .
Sadly the guy who ran Robs Satellite website died in July aged 49 , so one less source of decent info available , though I believe his nephew is trying to keep site forum running for info from all over Europe .
