Advice wanted on places to stay in south Tenerife

Hi everybody had a excellent time in puerto colon so we have decided to go back next year for longer with more family 15 of us in total at the end of august. the only thing is where to stay as we would like to be in the same area but the only place i can find at a reasonable is the tinerfe gardens could any body help with any ideas where to stay (villa or appartments) also it would be helpful if anybody has any views on what the tinerfe gardens are like thanks

You will struggle to get a booking for 15 people at end of August in the private apartments around there- Club Atlantis, Los Geranios , Ocean Park/Beach , Panorama - as this year they were rammed during English School holidays and are usually repeat booked every year .
Tinerfe Gardens is fine, if basic as is Laguna Park 1 ( not Laguna 2!!) and handy for all amenities and decent bars (as you probably have experienced ) - if you can get party booking in TG ,I would take it !
Some of the above still advertise on the Internet so you might try them and be lucky !
