View Full Version : Anyone know why plane diverted?
We flew in from East Midlands Airport this morning and there were three other flights to Tenerife today. I guess that means the tourist figures are up then!
When we got here I noticed on the arrivals board that one flight from E Mids had 'diverted' on the board, it was either Thomas Cook or Thomson I'm not sure.
Anyone heard why?
The FR3152 EMA to TFS on 9 October was diverted to Portugul due to a member of the cabin crew being taken ill. The fligjt arrived approx 3 hours late at TFS. The flight departed TFS at 1510. I know as I was waiting for thr return flight.
Hoping the crew member has made a full recovery
Regards.

barryk,
some info for you, it was the captain of the plane that had the problem.

Thanks both but thats not the plane I saw as diverted. We flew in on FR3152 funny enough but that was on the 11th October, not the 9th.
I'm sure it was a Thomas Cook or Thomson flight and it was shown as going to be about 1 1/2 hours late but eventually caught up a bit and was 3/4 hour late.

..............and we fly on that flight (Fr3152) tomorrow morning (sunday) leaving EMA at 0645 !!
anyone predict the gate number please !? - went to Spain on Wednesday (back to the UK last night) and then went from gate 2.
Previous EMA to TFS flights have gone from G9 and G21 (a long walk!)
