There are two ways you could do it. One meet them outside Mcdonalds which is a small walk from the port., or if they follow other people walking of the ship to the city there is walkway from the ship to the main road. when you come of the walkway there are lots of cafés across the road so you could say to them to go across the road and you will be waiting for them in the nearest cafe or you can walk to the ship and met them getting off. Hope that helps

Google maps santa cruz de tenerife. Zoom in on port are and you will see a round lake. It's an open plaza with cafes and a little museum. Plaza de Espana. But if you google the plaza it doesn't help you. It's opposite the port where the path comes up from the ships.

I'm not sure one can go up to the ship. Security is tight there. We were not allowed to atke our friends right up to their ship by car.

You can walk to the ship but not take your car, there are so many people walking back to the ship after shopping nobody checks anything. Done it lots of times

If you can't get onto the quayside , meet at the Statue to the Fallen diectly across the road next to Plaza Espana - can't miss it !

The 111 is about 1hr to bus station terminus , you go downstairs and if you use a Bono ticket you can jump on the tram outside for 1 stop free with Bono and a 2 minute walk to Statue , otherwise 10-15 mins from Bus station with port on your RHS !
ie Come out of bus station ,walk towards sea then turn left and walk alongside port area .

Not sure where you're getting on bus but the 110 leaves PDLA at 15 mins to and 15 mins past the hour and stops only at Los Cristianos and is quicker as it doesn't stop on motorway , maybe 15 mins quicker .
