How did you get it? From a shop or on the internet? Did you need all the proof of ID etc.

You usually need your passport for ID.
We have an orange dongle. Initially cost us about 50 euro and we put 35 euro for a month of 5gb of use.
Just went to Bazar Gala on avenida de suecia (behind church in los cristianos), took laptop with me.
Dongle plus 1 gig was 20 euros. Cost 10 euros per gig. Gentlemen configured my laptop which was
windows 8, so needed new drivers downloaded, did all this within the cost. you need your
passport - helpful guy in there.

It depends where you are. We were advised to buy an orange dongle and it doesn't work where we are above Las Chafiras. Very disappointing. Can I sell the dongle or shall I just bin it?

I would put it on here for sale.
We are at Camping Nauta just down the road from Las Chafiras and Orange is a good reception for us.

Hugh,
It might suit you just to go along to where Wi-Fi is free, like Gran Sur shopping centre & loads of other places. You see plenty of people around with their laptops.
Cheers, Bill.

Thanks Law. I will do that when I arrive.
