Our thoughts go out to Steve and his family. Always Mr Cool on the bass. Many a good night in "the Duck". Good music, good humour, good company. Pray for a good recovery.
Sad to report that Steve passed away today. Thoughts with his wife Sandie and their family. RIP Steve Powell.

dreadful news R.I.P.
Sad, sad news. I have known Steve for maybe 15 years & agree with everyone that he was really an exceptionally nice man. Long before I came to live here I used to frequent Bad Bobs & we regularly used to have a good old blether outside the back of the Duck when the Turn was on. Always the same & never had a bad word for anyone.
R.I P.
RIP Steve. Another one taken too early.
