???We have brought a set top box recorder over from the UK. We have set it up with our television and it says it's found 95 channels.......only problem is we can't find them on the TV. Has anyone got ideas what we are doing wrong please? There is a TDT box attached to the TV that works fine?????

Might be simple but is your TV digital and analogue -your TDT might be older type that puts out an analogue signal but your recorder is digital- what make is your TV? Does your TV have a dual tuner (digital and Analogue) - you may have to switch modes?
I brought one over too , Panasonic , and it works fine but doesnt tune up to CH69 like Spanish ones .

Or simply not using the correct "source" (input) switch on the TV

Yes, depending on connection whether AV or HDMI !! Most new ones are HDMI but they must have had right source initially to tune in and see 95 channels found ?

Not sure why you want to use the UK one, it will only find the same channels as the TDT on the TV, you will not get any UK channels!

Assume itīs because it has a record function ? My friend has just bought one "I-Joy" at Las Chafiras which is a set top box but records to USB stick or external disk for around €26 , handy and much cheaper than a PVR , you have to supply your own USB stick.

Could I attach this to my Europa set top box and record with it?

Donīt see why not , your Europa supplies a set of frequencies to your TV tuner so you would just be tuning the set top to the same frequencies .
Doesnīt the Europa set top have a record facility or catch up?

Just check what connections your TV and the set top box have so they are compatible . Some boxes have HDMI and Scart outputs , some only Scart , and obviously what your TV has .
