My wife and I will be coming out to Tenerife in the next 2 weeks and staying until May 2014.
Currently she is being treated for a leg ulcer by our Doctor in Torrevieja under the Spanish National Health System (Valencia region) and we both have Spanish SIP cards which we know is not acceptable in Tenerife.
Does anyone know of a private nurse or clinic which would undertake the cleaning and dressing of my wife's leg during our stay. We do not have private insurance as we are part of the Spanish NHS.
Somewhere between Las Americas and Los Gigantes would be ideal.
Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

You need to get a E111 Spanish card from seguridad social in Spain and you will then be able to use the social system here.Alternativly I know a nurse who will be able to help.

Thank you for your help casabonny.
We do have E111 cards supplied by the British NHS as we are pensioners. These only work with emergencies and as the leg ulcer is been an ongoing problem for 3 months the card will not be accepted.
Could you advise me regarding the nurse please.
Thanks again.
