SPAIN’S Transport Ministry (DGT) has this week launched a purge on drink-or-drug-driving, which ends on Sunday. Traffic police, who are targeting drivers returning from company Christmas parties, here and on the mainland, expect to have carried out around 20,000 checks during the campaign.
