Help! Christmas 2013, How do I find a car??

I'm a father of two sons, 11 and 12.
We are going to spend Christmas in Tenerife. dec 24th to dec 31st. We like active holidays and to explore different places each day.
Car rental is essential for us. Now, for three days I've tried every car rental site i could find but there is not one available car on the whole island for the above dates!!

Sites like Autoreisen actually lists cars with prices but when requesting a car there is no avail.

Does anyone want to rent a car to us? Anything is of interest! Any other alternative way to find a car is of course interesting!

Mark at Ashro Autos may also be able to help, we have used him for some time for our car rentals and he is excellent. I don't want to just give out his number publicly but you can google Ashro Autos and it should be the first one in the list
