So, who didn't feel that? I've never felt such a strong quake in this area.

Seems that it was only a 5.1

reported sunday 2 October 2016

The Instituto Volcanológico de Canarias has announced that there has been a series of small earthquakes in west Tenerife today (Sunday).

Involcan says that these are typical of those produced in active volcanoes.

I contacted some locals yesterday and they hadn't a clue it had happened and said they had not seen anything on local TV about this.

I posted this a few days ago and it was removed? Strange goings on with this site. Selective posts.
