Is there free parking near the harbour in Los Gigantes?

We always park on one of the side streets in LG rather than try to park right down in the actual harbour area as it's always been so busy. Not seen anywhere that charges for parking there but may be wrong.

Yes, it is. There are spaces outside the bars/cafes down by the harbour but maneuvering past the cars on 1 side and the drop into the water on the other isn't fun. There is a small carpark area a road back, but the side roads generally have plenty of space.
Worst thing we found was trying to park on a hill in a car with no traditional handbrake. Rolling forward until the brake kicked in wasn't something to repeat!

The parking on the marina itself is not free.You get a ticket at the barrier and pay at the paypoint prior to going back through the barrier.There are plans to start having meters in Calle Flor de Pascua and the Plaza but not sure if it had been implemented yet. The parking behind the Hotel Los Gigantes is free but fills quickly.Hope this helps.

Best place to park about 150 metres up the road there is lots of parking outside the swimming pool. Just as you get to 150m as going down to harbour there is a left like a roundabout, do this and immediately right. I usually park on there and if you wait around 10 mins if full you will normally get a spot.
