Starting Friday 10th January 2014 Blue Luna Cafe will be starting an arts and crafts group, run by Andrea Blundell. Come along for a relaxed, fun afternoon with your own arts and/or craft and/or come along and learn different types of arts and crafts.

I had a great time today at the Arts and Craft group practising my skills with encaustic wax art, I never realised I was so talented! (some reprobate going by the name of Lucky might claim to be the better artist however....)

Will certainly go again and next time I will take along my own particular art form for other people to try out which is photography. So come along if you fancy trying out some specialist shots of your own with my selection of lenses and see what you can produce from them in photoshop.

Hi anto3, no there are no joining fees, you are welcome to buy a drink or 2 though if you like. If you have an art/craft that you would like to display or share then the cost of a table is 3e this includes a drink. If you would just like to come and try a new skill then we do ask you to contribute 2e to cover cost of using that persons materials, hope to see you there next or any other Friday

Come to our Art and Craft group at The Blue Luna Cafe this Friday and learn the ancient art of Kumihimo braiding.You will be able to learn to make your own braid and create a bracelet to take away with you (€3 per kit).We will have our hand made jewellery display available for you to purchase from and a selection of our hand knitted Easter chicks and bunnies cream egg covers for sale. Our encaustic art expert Andrea will be back next week to continue her demonstrations.
