Fluent English speakers - 4 required in March 2014

Dear All,

In March 2014, I will be looking for 4 English Tutors to join my small team. This tutoring position will be done online.

You will be required to have the following.

Fast Broadband Connection
Skype
Laptop/PC

You do not need to have been a tutor in the past, however you will need to pass a small exam which shouldn't be a problem.

I will be moving to Tenerife in February which is why this won't be available until then.

Rate of Pay:
Taking the lowest possible payments; You would earn £8.68 an hour for the private sessions and £17.35 an hour for the group sessions. This is where the group has 8 students in it. If there were only 5 students in the group the rate would be £10.84 an hour.

You have quoted pounds sterling, did you mean to or should it have been euros?
I am not interested just pointing out as it will make a difference and if to be paid in the UK that can have implications on tax etc.

Hi you will be paid in Euro's at the current euro rate. Payments will be made in to your Spanish Bank Account.


Rate of Pay:
Taking the lowest possible payments; You would earn 10.24 euros an hour for the private sessions and 20.47 euros an hour for the group sessions. This is where the group has 8 students in it. If there were only 5 students in the group the rate would be 12.79 euros an hour.

It has been brought to my attention that this 'job' may not be all it seems to be. As such, great care seems to be the order of the day.


In Feb, the fee is being reduced so you may as well wait if it’s still something you want to do.

The fee includes:

Your English Exam
Full Training
Student Materials
+ Students are provided

Now it will be as follows in Feb

Tutor 1 - £100 (Currently £125
This allows you to Tutor students who are at Level 1 in English

Tutor 3 - £125 (Currently £150)
This allows you to Tutor students who are Level 1,2 and 3 in English.

Tutor 5 - £150 (Currently £175
This allows you to Tutor students who are Level 1,2,3,4 and 5 in English

You can pay monthly, so you’re not paying out such a large sum straight away.

3 month instalments:

Tutor 1 - £40 monthly
Tutor 3 - £50 monthly
Tutor 5 - £60 monthly

This isn’t as of the February reduction, it’s as it is now.
