I would greatly appreciate if anyone ,familiar with the current Spanish law,can advise ,please!
Is there a law ,stating that foreigners (from EU included ) who had arrived in Spain less than 6 months
ago should pay much higher taxes - 26 %? And where can I find reliable information on this matters ?
I have arrived in Tenerife two months ago ,started work ,but my pay is very low due to a high percentage
of taxes I am paying .
No one of my colleagues seem to know about it.
Any information will be helpful !
Thank you ! Have a good day !

I believe this is the same as being on "emergency tax" in the UK or Ireland when you start a new job and don't have the correct/up to date situation of your tax credits. You will be able to claim back any overpaid tax when you submit your "Renta" - annual declaration of Income (figures for year Jan-Dec 2013 must be submitted by 30 June 2014). Ask for an explanation from your Employer :)
