Apologies if this is covered elsewhere - we are a couple in our late 30s and we love Tenerife and visit it at least once a year for holidays. We have always had the idea of buying an apartment on the island (ideally Los Christianos or the PDLA area) to let out for holidaymakers and to also use ourselves - then use for our retirement in the future. With the financial climate in Spain and lower property values etc, is this a particularly good time to be a buyer in the island? Are they many restrictions about renting out a property? Beginning to look into this now, so keen to see what other peoples' experiences are and whether it works for for them, or whether it has been a regret?
Many thanks in advance.
