Is it difficult to get a taxi back to Palm Mar at night?

I am moving back to Teerife after 3 years away, when i was last there is was very difficult to get a taxi at night to Palm mAR.
iS That still the same or has the situation improved?

I would think that would depend on where you are getting a taxi from? Where will you be living?

I see - what was the problem you were having previously? Were taxi drivers reluctant to take you to Palm Mar? Have you checked to see if there are any buses running at the times you are likely to be travelling?

I dont think the taxi drivers are allowed to refuse a fare.especially if its within arona.and there are always cabs at the main los cris rank.

Take the cab number and report them at the cultural centre next day. Or if it keeps happening ring one from whichever bar you are at. They do not ask the destination when you ring.

I'am curious really, is this because of the distance,out the area the drivers wont take you?

exactly, they must take you home. Take the number and let the company know about the situation. Its not fair. Take care all.

My husband has got a taxi a few times from Los Cristianos to Palm Mar at 11 o`clock at night no problem. Also now in Palm Mar there is a taxi stand for about 3 cars and a board with areas on etc. Taxi stand on main rd coming in to Palm Mar opposite Davinci, Chinese restaurant etc.I have seen taxis waiting there for fares So you should be fine now.

Just get into the taxi and close the door before you tell the driver where you are going.
