It's a different socket connector on the Spanish phones.. So the plug on the UK phones won't fit..

YES.........we brought ours and it works.
When the engineer came to set things up (including internet) he sorted everything. Caller ID works on it as well. The only thing that is wrong is the time - one hour difference (mainland Spain time).

We brought 2 phones with us from the UK and they both work.

It is the plug/wall socket which is different. The socket on the phone itself is the same.

You just need to buy a new cable which most of the Chinese shops sell.

The base unit is connected via a cable - the phone itself is cordless :)
