Was that a meteor over the Amarilla Golf tonight?

Did anyone see a yellow fireball that I presume was a meteor over the sea at Amarilla Golf about 11pm this evening?

There is supposed to be a big meteor shower on Saturday but what I saw tonight was one large yellow ball, too big for a firework and at too gentle a projectory for a firework I think.

Next decent meteor shower ain't till april (The Lyrids)...

It was probably a Chinese Lantern.

I would be surprised if a Chinese lantern could go that fast on that projectory.
