I have some mexican pine furniture which is now
"sun bleached". Does anyone know where I can
buy a tin of wax polish here in Tenerife. Many thanks.

Leroy Merlin has tins of a hard wax for furniture. (http://www.leroymerlin.es/fp/11733554/cera-para-muebles-productos-promade-cera-para-muebles-natural) You need to look for "cera para muebles" (wax for furniture.)

You should be able to find wax in any hardware shop.

The brand "Pronto" has a spray tin of bees wax, although I imagine you're looking for a tin of hard wax. It shouldn't be hard to find as long as you say it's for furniture (muebles) and not for your car.

Thank you Canarybird for the speedy reply. Yes, it's the hard wax I am looking for. I am in the
South so was hoping to find a supplier closer. I go up north every couple of months so I will
put it on my list to call at Leroy Merlin if I don't manage to get any beforehand. Once again, many thanks.

jp...You're welcome. Have you tried hardware stores down nearer to you? They should have some hard wax in the section where they sell furniture polish and sprays.

I shall try Chafiras in Adeje tomorrow, its the nearest we have to a Merlin Leroy store we have in the south. Thanks
