Are there any decent Chinese buffets near the megabowl in Fañabé? I have to take a few people out for a Chinese next week and it needs to be within walking distance of the megabowl because we can't all fit in the car.

The Peking Palace ( or is it Peking Garden?!) is about 15-20 mins walk away and fantastic value. Walk down to the seafront, turn left and walk parallel to the sea. At the end of the beach head up behind Moonlight Bar ( unfriendliest bar in Tenerife) through the car park, up the ramp, turn left, to end of road (50yds) turn right and Peking Palace/Garden 30yds on lhs. All you can eat for €8! About 250yds in total from Megabowl? It's near Gordon Ramsey's!?

It's The Pekin Palace ,between Victorias(next to Gordon Ramsays) and Amanda's
Very clean buffet with good choice of soups, salad, sushi and many main dishes
Excellent value for money and wines and drinks reasonably priced

We have always found Pekin Palace great value for money ( haven't been Christmas Day) but what extras would most restaurants charge for Christmas ?
Even with the 'holiday extra charge '
was is still good food and value for money ?

We have eaten in the Pekin Palace many times and really enjoyed it. To do what they did (and in our eyes kidded people) without saying there is an extra charge because of Christmas Day beggars belief .. needless to say we will never eat there again and have told all our close friends and the restaurant itself of our intentions ...Sadly no winners really ...

Not so much their reaction ,more so the PR,s, when 12 of us walked past the place on our way to BnQ. and we were invited by the PR to go in there ....we just looked at her as one would. ...Stuff you love ..:redcard:
Does it matter what date of the year it is/was the government tax charge is 7% no matter what the day is...
One very large bollock dropped:whistle:
