Can anyone recommend a car hire firm on the Golf Del Sur?

Travelling to Golf Del Sur on Saturday 15th March, via the south airport.

Can anyone recommend a 'reasonably' trustworthy car hire firm, based on experience? Don't want to get stung by silly fuel policies, excess, cdw etc.

Is it better to collect the car in the airport? I fly home the following Saturday departing at 0815, do car hire offices generally open early enough?

Best value is Autoreisen at the airport. Booking online fixes price and you don't actually pay until you arrive. Their desk is in the baggage hall so you can sort out the paperwork while you wait for your luggage.

Their prices include everything you need, no hidden charges - in fact, they sometimes come up with a better deal when you arrive.

Definately recomend Autoreisen for short term car hire, no hidden charges and no fuel scam either. They will be open for when you return the car with no issues, you take it back to the car park opposite the terminal. Do not use Gold Car, last time I used them a couple years ago they would not let me see what they were putting through on my credit card until I kicked up a row about it, then it transpired they were adding on an extra 80 euro for somthing (fuel i think) but did not want me to see it. Ive never had any issues with Autoresien, they are a good co to use.

Used them many times, no probs. Even if you leave the car outside their hours you just put the keys and paperwork through the window in the office in the terminal, again no problems. Dont even THINK about using anybody else. Unless of course you enjoy getting ripped off?

It seems that Autoreisen is the one and I can wholeheartedly agree with that, as in past years I have used then as have other family members.
Simple to deal with and no hidden clauses that can cost you a fortune.

Definitely Auto Reisen. But if you are not going to be travelling around, then the Taxis are reasonable to GDS.
