Where can I buy a vegetable steamer in Las Americas?

I am staying in Las Americas, and i want a vegetable steamer, i don´t want an electric one, i just want one to put on the hob. I don´t think there is anywhere here in Las Americas, but have been told maybe in Los Christianos. Can anyone help please. thanks.

You should be able to find folding metal steam baskets in any hardware or shop selling kitchen gadgets. I use these all the time for steaming vegetables.

Yes canarybird I have seen these folding ones in the hardware shop in the building almost opposite the Titsa bus station in Las Americas ( down a short path ) also a good small busy fruit and veg shop which also has various jars of cooking sauces
