The report says the three adults went into the water to try to save the two children aged 10 & 14 who had been caught in a wave on Playa Paraiso beach.

Such a brave thing these adults did to try and help save the lives of others yet losing their own lives.
A very sad story indeed.

Are there no Lifegurds on that Beach now..?

I suspect it's an area of beach that's not considered safe for swimming .it looks very rocky. The report says they were swept away by a wave. They were both doctors.

Extremely sad.

It made front page news in the UK

but just a small mention in the Canarian Press as they don't like to publish much that might damage the tourist industry .......

As far as I know, (from news pictures), its a small beach for bathers, plus an entry for divers from the beach. Have dived there once or twice. But to get into difficulties there?? But never under estimate the power of the sea.
