I seem to remember a Duet from that Era with Anne Ziegler and Webster Booth.

A Doctor's visit was 7 shillings and sixpence and You could go out WITHOUT Locking the door.

A Dancehall I frequented had a Couple of friendly Musicians who previously

played for Henry Hall and Billy Cotton resdpectively.

could well have done Gigs at the Hammersmith Palais too!

Yes, but most of my friends were sent to a special school, they were "Approved Schools" they were told that they would learn from their mistakes and transgressions and that society needed protection from them. The schools must have worked as they came home with much better skills, as the police never caught them again!

There was no ADHD then either if anybody showed signs of it there was an instant cure in the Teachers desk. This is a good thread MM was thinking about all the things we did then and and you are right we had the good days.
