They changed it on 2nd November 2011.........but I guess it took some time for the news to reach you:sleeping:

Really ?? someone put an all staff work email round yesterday whilst I was off !
Ohh just looking at the email it's the old ones went out of circulation yesterday - so we can't accept them anymore they have to go to Post office or Bank !

Can't exchange them in Tenerife at all. Have to take them back to the uk where you can change them at any bank till October after that you can only change them at Bank of England.
