What's the availability & quality of the CSTI and other re-broadcasters' TV systems?

Hi,

Please could anyone advise if the CSTI BBC1/2/ITV system is stil available and the quality of the channels following the change over.

I have access to a secondhand box and aerial and paying the current annual maint charges seems a cheaper alternative to IPTV.

you can get anything and everything. The only problem with sports it is sometimes difficult to find a good stream. There are sites where you pay between 10-15 euros a month and the streams are a lot better as they limit the number of people trying to watch at the same time. I am in the process of trying to find a good supplier who has a secure credit card system or pay pal option before I go down this route. I would not like to totally rely on this system for my sports unless the paid addons are much better than the free ones.I also find at peak times of the day the speed to load the stream can differ so it must be because more people use the internet at the peak times.

for the sports channels, sportsdevil, mash up, naviX, there are loads. I only use it for BT sports as I have the rest on a community feed but I also use the laptop for 1st row sports and send the pictures to the TV by cable as I find the quality better. I may get the google chrome cast and try that as well for using the laptop. Another thing is if you have a bar close by showing the same game sometimes you hear the cheers before a goal is scored as you may be on a delay.

I still use CSTI as our internet connection simply isn't good enough for IPTV. It still works well for us. :)

to be honest I have never looked for them. I don't see why I would need them as whatever they show I would be able to find it somewhere if I wanted to see it. That is the good thing about this system, I just watch what I want to watch. I just go to icefilms and see what has been recently added. I have yet to fail in finding any show I wanted.
