Has anyone told him the full limit of Newcastle´s future ambition ? Mr. Ashley stated that they have no interest in the FA or League Cups & from now on will put all their efforts into not being relegated to the Championship. Word has it that there are one or two Geordies a bit disgruntled.

Oh and winter up there starts in August & finishes on St. Swithens day.

Both Luque and xisco have commented on how hard it is to adapt. He has his head screwed on well and I am sure he will work hard to adapt

Think this young man will struggle to get into the first team of Newcastle . I have seen him play loads and he is a good enough player for the 2nd division, but he might of bitten of more than he can chew in the PL.
All the same wish him all the best.
But before you go pull your socks up and help Tenerife at least qualify for the play offs.

I saw him play a few times, he was good when he was good and anonymous when he was bad. I can't see him walking into any PL team, even Newcastle!!! haha

Ayoze Perez has played all three of Newcastle´s pre-season games so far. It remains to be seen if he will start the season in the first 11 but so far he is doing well enough. Incidently last Saturday he played against another Tenerife lad (Alex Gorrin from Taimamo, South Tenerife) who now plays for Wellington FC in New Zealand. In fact this Alex Gorrin scored a cracking goal against West Ham and made another in Wellington´s victory against the Hammers.

I wonder how he is adapting to his new lifestyle and the challenge of being with a premiership team?
