Can you play poker in pubs in Tenerife?

Looking for some advice. I was looking to find out if poker is allowed in pubs in Tenerife? The research I has done is that bookie shops are a complete no no but not sure if they allow games that only the players stakes are prizes. Would you require a gambling licence etc, any advice would be appreciated.

Gambling licence only in the Casinos - any form of public gambling seems to be illegal, even prize bingo !
Cash Bingo is in state licenced halls . There are on-line football betting shops but that's about it .
There were a couple of bars that did poker but very low key !
