As per the thread title, did anyone else encounter all the jellyfish on the west coast of Tenerife last week? We are currently running a summer camp in Playa San Juan and we've not been able to take the kids to the beach all week.
My daughter went on her mate's boat last Saturday and Sunday and she reported that there were loads in the water all the way from Los Gigantes to Playa San Juan. During the week we saw literally 1000s on the beaches and in the water in San Juan- My daughters went 'jellyfishing' after camp and caught 15 of them!
Two of my adult students who are sailors in Puerto Colon said that they were down that far... I just wondered if they had reached Los Cris?
There were literally thousands in the water. It was a plague of them!
