Which is the cheapest ferry crossing to Tenerife from the mainland?

Can anyone advise me on the best/cheapest ferry crossing with car? I am relocating to Tenerife from Bulgaria and will drive to southern spain but the ferry cost seem so high when you add a cabin for the 2 days???? We are not resident in Tenerife yet (only have an NIE number) so don,t get the discount! is there another way???

Thanks anyway Junglejim, that post is from 2011 and they were residents, so a bit out of date!
