myself my partner and 15 tear old son are planning on relocating from northern ireland.
we have alredy made enquiries about buying a business and are hopefully going out there in january to look at a few.
my question is about schools for my son. he is in a very important year so i want to find the best for him. i did email one called britania in los cristianos but as yet they not replied. has anyone any knowledge of this one,or can you advise us on how easy or difficult the relocation may be.

With the age of your son I would seriously advise you think carefully. He is at an impossible age to make the transition to the Spanish system which means you have to put him into private English school. Either Wingate or TenerifeTeddy who have a small school unit in Callao Salvaje
I would reccommend you wait until he has finished school and has some training for a job as without Spanish cualifications young people find it almost impossible to get a job especially if they speak no Spanish

Britannia closed a few years ago.

Hiya - yes Britannia school closed some time ago. There is a British school in the North http://www.britishschooltenerife.com/ and Wingate in the south http://www.wingateschool.com/

There are other secondary private schools but they and the public schools teach in Spanish for most if not all of the lessons.

That is the choice! My school is relatively new and still waiting on some paperwork but only takes children in Nursery and Primary age groups.
