How do you think this would go down in Tenerife and is it a good or bad thing?

personally I get really put off by fat , tattooed, semi naked tourists walking around away from the beach or pool ....and I ain't too keen on the Canarian locals wandering around in their budgie smugglers either.

I think fining people may be a step too far but I think folk should use their common sense in where they strip off. My OH loves to have the sun on his bare back and does have his shirt off frequently but would never dream of sitting in a café or restaurant without having one on but that may be because he knows I would moan at him for not wearing one. Holiday beach resorts may have to be careful what they wish for and not chase tourists away.Tenerife looks as if it may just be getting back on its feet so best to leave well alone for now in my humble opinion.

i think there is a place for to go half dressed--go to the beach or on your balcony as long as the next door person does not see you-- i think it looks very bad going around dressed with only a shorts or a bray and shorts -- not in public
