A night with NINO - Thursday 2nd June

This Thursday CD Tenerife legend Nino will be making an apperance at the Frente "local" in Santa Cruz. He will be posing for photos, signing autographs etc. A nice touch by a great player for Tenerife and also a great person. Anyone in Armada Sur that wants to go please contact me. Starts around 8.30pm.Should be a good night.

Top night with Nino in the local of the Tenerife supporters "Frente Blanquiazul". Nino spoke of his great dissapointment of how the season turned out and how happy he had been here during his 4 years on the Island. His eyes welled up when he spoke of the Tenerife supporters and I am sure that one day Nino will be back here in some shape or another. Nino chetted with fans, posed for scores of photos and geniunally seemed moved by the occasion. Around 70 Frente turned up with a few Armada Sur who also presented Nino with a momento from his time here (thanks to Red Arrow).
