I needed a washing machine engineer last weekend, I found an ad in the CW paper, a chap called Larry, so I called him, bear in mind it was Saturday afternoon, he told me he could be with me within an hour, he duly arrived, assessed the fault, explained in detail what was wrong, carried out the repair after I gave him the ok.
He even helped me to free off my water ON/ OFF valve as it was seized up.
After he finished the job I couldn't believe he only asked for €25 all in.
The point I am making here is It's a breath of fresh air to get someone here in Tenerife who is good at what they do and not join the army of Brits ripping the Brits off, as I have experienced many times having had a property here over 25 years.
