Yes it was . They fenced the whole of that grassy bit just across from Linares 2 and put up a "stable" to house Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherds, kings and of course a wee lamb!!!!! It was awfy braw!!

The White bike i8s there.........again?
just walked by the bike, it's of course locked up and with a 'serious' secure lock and its a 'sporty' bike - not the type us folks would now be using - gave you a very very quick wave as I stopped to have a look at it - couldnt stop any longer as I needed a comfort break.
We have just had a curry in the courtyard curry place, next to the old roast house - had to send my lamb rogan josh back as it blew my head off, certainly not a rogan josh I am used to having and had a few there and elsewhere apart from that it was ok.
we had a couple of wavers on the LC cam and it looked like she was giving us the highland fling.:eyebrows:

I waved twice when over there on 8th and 19th.
No-one to spot Me. Still it was a great Holiday and it was wet 18th and 19th with snow down to 2500 feet.

It's a new initiative from the Linaris2 Restaurant, it's like a sheep pen for the customers children....the kids are safe while the adults get fed and pie eyed on cheap booze! :cheeky:

Still in Puerto, just went down to LC for the day. Came across the sight of the " famous" camera and gave you all a wave. No bike tho':wink:

Could hear something up here on our terrace around that time, we are near the Mirador strip - presume it was the steel band, clearly part of the carnival events.
In fairness to everyone its been a reasonably quiet time, the fair is back on the wasteground next to the Valdes Centre - but the final weekend is about to start so, music, fun, noise and light images that move around the sky are expected until the finale on Monday night.
You can feel the 'party party' mood in the air.
Entertainment on the prom again!:spin:

The sound is fairly recent but normally you can just hear them setting out table in the Chinese which I agree is of no help. I was surprised to hear drums when I logged on.
Just seen a waver - couple with black trousers, guy has a straw hat on. They were looking up and a lone male passer by pointed out where the camera was and the they waved. Then gone for a sit down on the bench to watch Armas going. Wish I was there - 6 more weeks today for us.

Looking at the webcam last night, a twin mobility scooter stopped and the young couple who were on it got off and along with a couple of children who were with them had a game of football......disabled!!??:bootyshake:
These twin scooters are a menace wont belong before someones hurt.

Us also, we will have to be patient and wait until late April for our sunshine break, Carol is trying to talk me into a skiing weekend when the snow arrives in the highlands....it's not enough for her that I broke a toe this October in Tenerife, she wants a leg as well ! :D

As many will know the Spanish tradition is to eat one grape for every one of the 12 'dongs'' as the clock reaches midnight to herald in the New Year. Not always an easy task.
The local Mercadona in Spain normally have them stacked up just as you approach the checkout. Of course you dont need to buy a tin but it makes life a little easier if you do.

When we arrive in 88 days time, it will be a different apartment from our normal one at el Mirador....the one we have rented is only 25 metres from where the webcam is and we will have the same views as you can see from the camera. :jumping:
I hope we don't get fed up with it, as we will be looking at it for 28 days.:D

There is no chance of that, it was me always viewing the scenery when we were at el Mirador that made Carol change apartments for this year, and if you remember you were our next door neighbor and it was you that I was always viewing over the wall at as you sunbathed! :sunbathe: :laugh:
Let Me know if You get fed up and I'll be glad to be substitute there or up the brae.
I'll be along that Prom shortly as I always call in a Restaurant near the wrecked House
to see two Friends of quite a few years now.

There is no doubt that we will be found in our favourite evening drinking spot, the Linaris II, and it's only about 15 metres from our apartment....now I won't have to carry Carol back up the hill to el Mirador, I could maybe even get a long straw for her and she can sit on our balcony and still have her drink on the table at the Linaris. :D
Also hopefully we will meet up with sunspot there and have a meal with her, it's now been two years since we have seen her.

it would be nice to hear it spoken again.

Now that's a coincidence, as only this evening our youngest Grandson asked us when we are taking him to Blackpool, he loves the buzz of the place, fortunately as he lives in a holiday resort in Scotland (Largs), he is not interested in the slot machines.
I think we will take him for a long weekend sometime in June....the lucky blighter is going to Vietnam with my son and his wife in November.....now that will be a culture shock for him!
PS. If your in Blackpool at the same time as us, I will let Carol buy you a pint, or maybe two. :cheers:

It's proving very difficult to find the actual owner as it appears to be shared by some Chinese men and I'm having problems in differentiating between them. :p

Looking at the webcam, it seems nice and sunny sunny in Los Cristianos and there appears to be a bit of a breeze coming off the sea.....a bit like here on the West coast of Scotland, but the temperature here is only 15c. :lol:

It has with me, this will be my first birthday (tomorrow), that for about fifteen years that I haven't celebrated it in Tenerife and generally meeting up with old forum friends. :cry:

Watching the web cam picture and listening this evening, it doesn't sound like him.

That would be AnguJim and his wife, but she's not Chinese, he brought her home to Scotland over from Vietnam when he was there installing a Whisky Plantation.
