Desperately seeking a place to live in Santa Cruz

I moved to Santa Cruz 6 days ago, started work on Thursday & am now pretty desperate to find a place to live. It seems I severely underestimated the language barrier & I'm tired of staying in a hotel.
So I'm looking for anything within 5km of the Taco area (where my workplace is). It just need to have an outdoor area (I'm a smoker, but don't like to smoke inside).
I'm very laid back and trying to learn Spanish.
Price: Max. €300 for a share, €450 for an apartment.
