How far can you cycle along the walkway from Los Cristianos towards Las Americas?

I'm after some info please lovely people. When we come over in a few weeks I'm thinking of hiring bikes for a day. Two adults and two kids aged 8 & 10. What I'm wondering is how far can you cycle from Los Cristianos heading toward Las America's direction? I wouldn't want to take the kids on the roads just the pedestrian walk-ways between resorts. I would say pretty much all the way from Los Cris. to La Caletta with maybe a few steps to climb in certain places ...
