Not that fussed where I live though really as long as I can make a decent living there.
Came on holiday a couple of times in the 80's. Been over here since Dec 2009. No plans to leave just yet. Lucky enough not to have to get a job here to pay the bills.
Came on holiday for the first time in 1978 and moved here in 1996 and no plans for going anywhere!
Arrived for my first holiday in 1982, visited the Island every year since. The holidays here were getting longer and longer so we moved here in April 2007. Like others I have no plans to go anywhere..

Did you bring your plane on the plane jim, or did you buy one in tenerife ? I got caught with 2 spanners in my hand luggage and got the 3rd degree when scanner saw them ?, felt like saying I'm going to unscrew my seat, and **** the captain with it,
First visited in 2003 - begrudgingly ... and fell in love with Tenerife .... by 2006, I was spending a lot more time here and officially settled in 2008 .... what was not in the plans was working full time instead of enjoying the Good Life :)
FFirst came here on holiday in 1976, and then nearly every year after that! Eventually moved out permanently in 2000 and no plans for going anywhere - unless of course I win the lottery or the Big Man upstairs calls for me!

moved here mid march been coming here for 10 years + have dabbled in the job market if your prepared to do anything and keep badgering people you will find work, because the word of mouth is better than an advert in the paper.
I arrived in 1986 and although I'm due some time off for good behaviour I'll be sticking around for a while:eyebrows:

Arrived January 2001, Would I ever go home?
When I think of home I don't think of a land accross the sea, I think of the one below my feet.
Been having holidays since 1994, made the move in 2002. Have done whatever jobs we have needed to stay, luckily now we have both got good jobs which we appreciate are like gold dust at the moment. 2 teenage girls that now refuse to move so whilst the goings good we're going to stay put.

Been out here three years now, but kinda had enough now. Cannot wait to move back to London and civilisation - proper culture, arts, music, comedy, theatre, etc etc. Tenerife's great for a sun tan and a few beers, but as a place to live long-term, no way - depends what age you are though I suppose. I made the mistake of moving to Golf de Sur, and compared to London, it's like being buried alive!
I used to live in and around London and it can become very dull, monotonous, anonymous, superficial, artificial, pretentious and hell after a while... All places have their pros and cons. Personally I think its all the same wherever you are - only the people change.
Living here just 2 months now, from april 2011 :) and desperately looking for some job to survive :D

Golf del Sur? Being English and dare I say white I feel perfectly at home there. London where I was born? Dont even recognise it, full of foreigners!.........:ashamed:
