What are the usual agency fees for selling property in Tenerife?

Hi, I am looking for some info re, agency fees for selling a property, can anyone give me any info re, agency fees percentage etc. I have had a couple of quotes of 5% of the selling price which seems a little high to me.

That's average fro over here, often higher. It's not like in the UK.

5% is standard.
Some agencies charge 3% although he ones I have come across which do so are not selling property as their primary business - part timers / dabbling... not what you want in this market.
Many of the franchises want 6%, one of them tells people 8% then reduces to 6% if they question it (The thinking is that some maybe wont question it.)
