THE Canary Islands’ main hospitals are struggling to cope with a large influx of patients because of a flu outbreak, an ageing population and an immigration increase.
The Canarian Government admits there are now major issues in the Islands’ hospitals.
Local newspapers have printed photographs of patients lying on trolleys in corridors. But the Canarian Health Service director says the problem is not confined to the Islands only.
