Flight prices easy jet

Just woulnderd if any one could help, just looking at flights at the moment.

Went on website ,flight from bristol to tenerife 20/10/15. £159 2 adults basic

Looked at same day from tenerife to bristol £340 basic. Just woulnderd why it's double the price
To fly from tenerife back to bristol.

Ps: was thinking of booking flight over then waiting for flights for return 30/10/15

But if they are going to be double the price is it worth waiting and booking it altogether

Help appresiated.

Possibly a school holiday return time. Everyone needing to get back from the previous week and obviously they'd like to fill the planes that are going to get them. Just a guess I'm afraid...:tiphat:

The autumn half tern is over the last two weeks in October hence the prices, just go the first week of November.

The prices are both for the 20/10/15. Bristol /tenerife. £159. Return works out at £340

Just did this as a comparison if booking individually. Flights not available for 31/10/15.

Just did this as a comparison if booking individually. Flights not available for 31/10/15.take a look at skyscanner:) just had a look myself and you can fly out with ryanair for £64 per adult on the 20th october, but fly back on the 30th and thomas cook want nearly £900:(

As are Ryanair's schedule and I have booked for September, Prestwick to Tenerife. The price for 2017 has worked out at £7 cheaper for the same dates in 2016.:)

Booked flights when first released, looked first thing this morning the same flight is £445 cheaper
Who said booking when first released is best.
I know i should just book & forget, but that is half my spending money, few beers & meals with that.

I can understand £50 / £70 cheaper but come on over £400. Gutted

Totally agree, many months ago we booked Ryanair flights to Spain for our stay over the New Year and then watched the price rise and rise.

Checked yesterday and our 'good value early booked' flights which cost £340 are now £250. Hey ho !

I wait until the price each way is less than £50 and then book. The problem arises when you only have certain dates you want but 12 weeks or 6 weeks before is often a good time. My flight to Stansted and back this week was the princely price of 47.98 euros for the return which was booked about 12 weeks ago.
