I have an expired UK driving licence. Can I renew it in Tenerife?

Unless you permanently reside in the UK and can prove this you cannot get either a re-newall or a new UK licence. If you go to the DVLC (or whatever they are now called) website it will clearly advise you. Without having all of your details it seem that you might need to get a Spanish one which might entail sitting a new examination. I would be urgently seeking proper advice asap.

If you now live in Tenerife and don't have a residential UK address then it appears to be the case that you won't be able to renew your UK licence.

I had to return to the U.K., couldn't renew on line in the Canaries.
