Dear Jason,
Yes, all your children need NIE. Actually everyone who lives more than 3 months in Spain needs NIE, it is mandatory.

Hi, we have just done this and we didn't need an NIE for our son. They took the number of mine. For my son we needed to go to the town hall and present his birth certificate, translated into Spanish by an official person. Proof of our address and mine and my sons passports.
They gave us a bit of paper to give to the school.
We took this to the school where they needed photocopies of our passports. My NIE and his birth certificate in Spanish and English. Get these photo copied before you go to the school but also take the originals. If you don't speak fluent Spanish you need to take a translator.

Thank you we have sent our documents off to be translated and are waiting to hear about health cover seems like we are getting no where but hopefully once we receive the translated documents things start to move foreword it seems different areas require different documents

Yes it would seem so. It's probably best to check with the school you want to send them to. Good luck.

We went to Ciep Faņabe. Still waiting to hear which one he's got into. We put Adeje Casco as 2nd choice and Los Olivos as 3rd.
