Binter airways flights from Tenerife to Gran Canaria takes about 35-40 mins

If you fly you are there in a couple of hours. Going by ferry you lose most of two days.

More like 80 minutes on the ferry.

I'm sorry but I am totally lost now. The ferry goes from Santa Cruz in Tenerife to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria. What sort of car does your friend have that would enable them to drive there?

According to the Fred Olsen website and my friends, the ferry they took goes to Agaete.

it did when I went and the old ferry took about one and a half hours. i'd say the fast boat would take less tahn an hour now.

According to the Fred Olsen website and my friends, the ferry they took goes to Agaete.

It costs €4.30 from Agaete to Las Palmas on the bus. I still struggle to see where the two days comes in.

Here is the timetable for frequent sailings, easily done in a day.
